to Cherokee Nation!

Vacations That Give offers a great service vacation working with Native Americans in northeast Oklahoma. You will have the opportunity to explore a different culture, learn a little about our country's history, and provide volunteer service to a community in need. As with all of our programs we will also spend time reflecting on our daily experiences.
Trip Details
Cherokee Nation, Northeast Oklahoma- Our work will vary, volunteering at an orphanage, preparing and serving meals, home repair, building wheelchair ramps or splitting wood for heating. In addition we will learn some Cherokee language, visit the National Heritage center, weave baskets and share an afternoon hearing native stories. Visit another "Nation" and culture without a passport!
Cost $740 per person Plus airfare
This includes, room and all meals, local transportation with the group, work shirts, family photo, and sightseeing during the week.
